Running is sometimes very tough

"You're running on guts. On fumes. Your muscles twitch. You throw up. You're delirious. But you keep running because there's no way out of this hell you're in, because there's no way you're not crossing the finish line. It's a misery that non-runners don't understand." - Martine Costello

Sometimes running is really tough, but don't give up :)

Without limits

Without limits - maybe the best movie about running. About one special and amazing runner - Steve Prefontaine. First time I watched this movie when I was at school. It inspired me very much. If you sometimes feel that there's not so much motivation to run, watch this movie. This movie is about running passion, about running in our life, about running beauty. About one man big dreams.

Despite the fact that Steve Prefontaine is dead for more than 30 years now, but his running results is pretty good:

You would still be on the top with such results. His results show how good he was.

I like this Prefontaine quote: "Most people run a race to see who is fastest. I run a race to see who has the most guts." So keep running people :) I hope you have a nice day :)

Today I found very good quote about running:

"I always loved running... it was something you could do by yourself, and under your own power. You could go in any direction, fast or slow as you wanted, fighting the wind if you felt like it, seeking out new sights just on the strength of your feet and the courage of your lungs." Jesse Owens

And he is 100 percent right. Running is about freedom, your running path takes you wherever you want. You can go slow or fast, there's no rush. You are ruling your running, not others. It's all about yourself focusing on one thing. It just you and your running path.

By the way, Jesse Owens won even 4 gold medals in 1936 Olympics in Berlin. That's amazing because he won those medals in 100m, 200m distances, in 4*100m relay and in the LONG JUMP :) That's fantastic.
