Well, sometimes it happens that you don't want to run. You feel unhappy or you just want to be a lazy for a one day.
But I can tell from my own experience, it's not good to miss your trainings. You think: "Ok, just this one time, nothing bad will happen". But another day the same thing happens "Ok, one more time". And after one week you will see in your running log, that you didn't run at all. So I don't want this thing happen to you. I want you to keep motivated and I think this will help.
10 top tips for staying motivated for running training.
1. Just remember how good you feel after running. Yes, it's sometimes hard when running, but when you finish you feel soooo good. You feel easy and it seems that you can fly away. That's why you should run today again, to feel that satisfaction again.
2. Always one thing happens when you don't run. Very very easily in your mind you are blaming yourself "Ok, I didn't run, that's nothing bad... but I don't feel good". So to lose this blaming, just get up and have a little run.
3. Find a running friend. If you are tired to run. So you have to run for your friend. He is waiting fo you, don't disappoint him. It always help me :)
4. Sometimes you think that you don't have enough time to run. It's not true. There are a lot of presidents who run everyday. There are a lot celebrities who get up at 5 a.m. and run. Why? Because they know how good running is for them.
5. It never happened to me that I dressed running apparel and didn't run. It's less than one minute, to dress. Try this trick. Just dress and you will really go out for a run.
6. Just remember that health is your biggest wealth. So there's no time to be lazy. Running really makes your health much better. You won't have time later. If you don't run today, you will remember it later, but not in a very joyful way.
7. 30min of running makes you live 10h longer. Anything else? It's really worth it :)
8. If you don't run, you will gain more weight. Do you really want to get extra pounds? Remember that your organism is now used to run and your organism needs some amount of calories. If you stop, your stomach won't understand that. So you will eat the same, but you are not running, so you don't burn these extra calories.
9. It makes you much more happy. If you are happy, everyone around you will be happy. If you are angry, you can make others angry. Do you want hat?
10. Remember that it helps to run from diseases.
You can make some notes on your wall, bed or even on ceilings. Write something motivational on them. If you see them everytime, you feel that you want to do it. Early in the morning you can write on your wall "I have to run 20 minutes this evening" and when you are at home, you see it, you do it. The same about you eating habits. You can write on your freezer "Do you really have to eat now?" :) It really helps.
