Music can really help you to run much better. It's very helpful if you are running alone, in a big city streets or in bad weather conditions.
If you are running alone it's good to have some music, because you won't feel bored.
In a big city streets it helps you to be not disturbed by city's noise.
If you see that it's raining or wind is really strong outsid, just take some good music (for example Bob Marley) and when you run you won't even feel those bad weather conditions. Trust me, it really works. If all songs are about sunny weather or beautiful beaches you will forget about bad weather.
It's better not to listen to sad songs when running, because it really can make you feel upset and you will feel bad after running. It's better to listen to playful music, it cheers you up.
You should experiment with running music. Maybe it's very good to listen to rock music in the end of your running, because you feel a little bit tired and it makes you to run faster. Or it's good to listen to classic music all running time, because it makes you to feel light. It depends on music you like
It is very important to feel comfortable when running. So you shouldn't hold your player in hands. It's great use a player armband. It won't bother you.
