Starting from 2009.10.28 I will write here about my running training: distance, feelings, goals, weather conditions and everything what happens during my running. I will write about my nutrition, good running articles I find in the internet and all other stuff which is related with running.

Here you can read about my running training place, how I start my running training, my goals, my running friends and other thing I may won't mention in my blog everytime.



Running and running

It's getting cold in Switzerland, but despite this fact, last Sunday (11-18) I was running just with my t-shirts and shorts :) Weather here is very unpredictable. One day is like summer, another day is very cold and raining. Every week I am running here mostly 4 times, from 10 to 20 km :) Not very much, but I hope to improve later. Sometimes it's quite boring, because all the time here I am running alone. But, in the forest I meet quite a lot other runners, it seems that running is very popular in Switzerland. By the way, Switzerland is considered to be one of the best countries in the world to live a healthy, safe and reasonably prosperous life ;) Here they have a lot of mountains, beautiful and clean forests, so for running is a really good place ;) Video where you can see Swiss mountains:


Running in Switzerland

Hello to everyone :) How are you :)? I am now living in Switzerland and really enjoy it's surroundings. Switzerland is maybe the most ecological country in Europe (or maybe even all the world), so all forests are very clean and beautiful. Here are lot of running people :) I am living in the south, Winterthur, near Zurich, so here are not high mountains, but still, some very high hills really helps me to improve my endurance :) Later I will travel to the north and climb a high mountain :) We will see how it goes here for me, but now I really enjoy this beautiful country :) Have a good time! :)


Lithuania has a gold in marathon distance :)

At last, at last Lithuania has a gold in marathon distance!!! We are very proud to have a such great runner like Zivile Balciunaite in our tiny country. She is the best. For more than 30 years Lithuania didn't have any big achievements in running and now it's the end of that period. She won European championship in Barcelona in marathon distance. Her time was 2:31:14

I really hope that Zivile Balciunaite will win few more big marathons (like Boston, London or New York) and will win a medal in London Olympics.

Her trainer (Romas Sausaitis) trains just two girls. One is Zivile Balciunaite, another one is Vaida Zusinaite (22 years old) and she is the best in 5000m disntance in Lithuania now. We really hope that she will be like Zivile one day. I am very proud to say that Vaida is from my hometown, we are friends and sometimes we run together. I wish them the best. 2010.06.14 - 2010.06.27. It seems that injuries love me

It really seams that injuries love me. I was just beginning to run after one injury and here it goes again. One day I was running downhill and suddenly I strained my tendon. It was even hard to walk in the beginning. I was in the middle of a forrest :) So I walked about 1-2k and when very very slowly, with quite a lot of pain ran back home. My leg swelled out. So in two weeks I could run just 4 days. In those 4 days I ran 68k.

Today (06.28) I have run 10k. I hope it will be ok and I won't give up. Injuries is just a little obstacle in my way. I had quite a lot of them, I could stop running a lot of times, sometimes I even couldn't run for months, but I still enjoy running and I love it more and more :)

Few days ago I found out that the oldest person who finished Boston marathon was 81 year old and New York marathon 88 years old! Isn't that amazing? It's never to late to have a little run

2010.06.07 - 2010.06.13

This was the first week after my injury is almost gone :) I hope it won't come back, I still feel a little pain, but it doesn't bother me too much :) So, this week I made 5 trainings and in total it is 68k. I hope next week it will be more kilometers :) So how my week looked like:

06.07 - 10k, the pace was about 4.35min/1k, the temperature was really really good;) I felt some pain after running 26 minutes, but it went away after few minutes :) I was running with my trainer, it was really nice to run with him again, because this summer I am going to live in my hometown :)

06.08 - 13k, it was very windy day and I was running alone, so sometimes wind is not so fun :) But it makes us stronger :)

06.09 - 16k, the pace was pretty good, about 4.20min/1k, sometimes even faster. I can say that in the end of this training I was pretty tired :) But, you know, five minutes rest and you feel much better again :)

06.11 - 11k, it was really hot day that I even decided to take of my t-shirt, because it was all wet. Just 11k, but I was wet just like after 20k :)

06.13 - 18k, the temperature was very good. After running 1 hour, I felt some pain, but it was gone after 5 minutes, so now I will always know that the pain will be gone soon :)

So in total 68k, not so much, but as the first week after injury, I think, it's good :) We will see how it goes later ;) Good luck to you, dear runners :)

Injury, I hope, is gone 2010.06.08

Last week I decided to have a rest because of my injury. I ran just 5k one day, but I felt so much pain in my knee, that I thought that I should rest more. Yesterday I ran 10k and I almost didn't feel any pain, just a little sometimes :) So, I hope everything is going to be OK and I will be able to run more and more :)

Injury, go away :) 2010.05.24 - 2010.05.31

Hello hello :) Last time I said, that I am going to run 50-60k this week, ok, it didn't happen. On Wednesday I ran 12k and everything felt pretty good, but on Thursday I could run just 8k. I felt a lot of pain in my knee. This is why I decided to rest and do not run at all. I want to feel that injury is gone, I don't want to get worse just because I really like to run :) I have to be patient :) I hope I will run on the 3rd of June :) And we will begin summer season :) Good luck for you, guys :D


Running running, I love running :) 2010.05.17 - 2010.05.23

Hello hello :) This week was pretty easy for me, because of my injury I didn't run very much. In all week I ran 35k. It's very little comparing to my previous weeks, because I can run 35k in just one training :) But I don't want my injury to get worse, so I take it easy. Next week I will try to run more - maybe about 50-60k. I hope the paine in my knee will go away and everything will be OK :) I am ready to train as much as I can in summer, so I need my knees to be healthy :) I wish you a good run today :) Bye bye :)

2010.05.03 - 2010.05.14

Hello, dear runners :) For me it's pretty slow times, because I have an injury, something is wrong with my knee :) I was running 20k on the 11th of May and suddenly felt very much pain. So I decided to take it slowly and don't run too much. Today, the 17th of May, I will try to run 5k. I don't want to get it more and more painful. I know that I have to rest a little :) From the 3rd of May to 8th of May I ran 100k :) So, in 4 weeks I ran 400k :) It's really good :) But now I will run much less, I hope I will get better soon :) Good luck to you :)


2010.05.02

I am very sorry that I am writing just today, but something was wrong with server and I couldn't write anything :) So I ran 100k last week as well :) On Saturday (05.01) I ran 33k :) It was raining all the time and I was running just with shorts and shirt, so it was pretty cold :) But I didn't feel very tired, all the time I tried to keep the same pace and in the end I felt quite good :) When I had some rest and went to sauna :) I felt amazing after that :) So light and easy :) Other days I was running from 10 to 20 k :) So, nothing special :) I think I will start to run fartleks from summer, I want to increase my speed a little. And I will do some runnings uphill :) And from summer, I think, I am going to do my video blog :) We will see how it goes ;) Good luck :)


Keep on moving. 2010.04.25

This week I ran just one kilometer less than last week, that means that I ran 99k :) It was pretty good week, no bad feelings, everything was fine. My trainings was like this:
2010.04.20 - 20k, very good weather, the pace was something about 4.30min/1k.
2010.04.22 - 21k, it was pretty cold, something about 41 by Farenheit ;) And the pace was the same.
2010.04.23 - 12k, in the beginning it was quite hard to run, but after 10k I felt much better and just after 2k it was the end:) Sometimes it takes all the training to feel better :)
2010.04.24 - 37k :))) My personal length record :) It was raining, quite cold, but it doesn't matter ;) It was really cool to run such distance. After running 30k I felt very thirsty:) This is why it's really good to have a cup of water during marathon :) I really hope to run a marathon in June, and run 100k in August :) We will see how it goes:)
2010.04.25 - 10k. I was running pretty slowly, because I wanted to recover after 37k :) It was "chill out" training :) No rush :)
So, as you see, this week was pretty good for me :) I hope everything will be ok this week, next week, the week after next week and so on :) Goodbye ;)


Pushing myself a little bit more. 2010.04.21

Hello hello :) I hope you all are feeling very good :) Well, as talking about me, everything is really great. I enjoy much better weather and my runnings everytime. Last week I ran 5 times. 3 times I did 20k, one time 10k and the last time 30k. 30k is the longest distance I have ever made :) It was really cool to make it at last. It wasn't hard, it was quite easy and I think I an my trainer ran the last 10k the fastest. I could run even more. I think I could run whole marathon with no doubts. But what I realize from running 20k and more, that I want to drink some water, mostly after 18k. If I could get water, I would be able to run more and more :) When I was running 30k, I wanted to drink after 25k :) So it depends :) I hope that in May we will try to run 50k, it can be much harder than 30k, but I hope the best:) So, keep training and have a nice week :)


2010.03.30 - 2010.04.03

Hello, everyone :) I am in pretty good mood because everything is going on really well. The weather is really nice and I enjoy all my runnings. This week I ran just 4 times, but it was pretty cool. On the 2nd of April I ran 20k, and on the 3rd of April I ran 25k. So it was a good weekend for me. This week I made 69k in total. Not so much, but I feel really good. Maybe next week I will run more. I hope I won't get any injuries and will be able to run until next winter with no breaks :) And maybe next winter won't be so cold and I won't get sick :) So, we will see :) I wish you the best and see you soon :)


2010.03.15 - 2010.03.29 Spring spring spring :)

Hello to you all :) I am really happy because we are having a very beautiful weather in our place right now. The temperature is even 59 by Farenheit sometimes;) So, it's very warm to run, no cold at all :) I am really glad about this fact.
Today I had a short run (40minutes) in the morning. It was a little bit chilly in the beginning, but I really enjoyed my training. Now I am running 5 times a week and I try to run at least one hour everytime. Today I made an exception, because I was running on Sunday. I ran 21k on Saturday and 18k on Friday. So last week I ran 75k in total. I want to increase my mileage to 62miles per week. It would be great and I hope I will start to do this in few weeks.
I am very pitty about the fact that I can't write everyday, but I hope you like my blog despite the fact it's not updated everyday. Have a good time and bye bye :)


2010.03.04 - 2010.03.14 Winter winter winter :)

We still have pretty cold winter in our place :) It's snowing quite a lot, the temperature is pretty low. But I really hope that winter will go away after few days :) So, I am running four-five times a week and at least 7-10k everytime. Next week I will try to run at least 1 hour everytime :) I really want to get stronger and faster. My trainer is talking about 100km competition everytime and this idea is a little bit crazy for me at the moment, because I am pretty weak after winter (illness, illness). But I hope I will get stronger and stronger very soon. We will try to run 50k in May and we will see how it goes. If it's ok, I will try to run in 100k competition, if it is very bad, I will try to run it later :) I still have pretty much time until my 100th :) So, everybody, have a nice time :) I hope winter is not disturbing you :) Bye :)


2010.02.01 - 2010.03.03 (Training and illness).. Here I run again:)

Hello everybody :) Well, as I said before, winter is pretty bad time for me :) I was sick even three times this winter. Two time I had to rest for 2 weeks and the last time for 3 weeks. But I am really happy that I always come back to running pretty easily. It's not hard to run 10k even after 3 weeks of doing nothing. I am very sorry that I don't write everyday, because now I don't have internet at home, so I can write just at my friend's sometimes.
The weather in our country was pretty cold. These days I thought that spring is coming.. BUT NOOOO :) Winter doesn't want to go away and we still have quite a lot of snow and pretty low temperature. I hope it won't make me ill again :) Now I try to run 5 days a week and about 10k everyday. This weekend (02-27) I ran 23k :) It was pretty hard to run sometimes, maybe after 14k it was hard, but later it was much better and I came back home feeling very good. It's always very good to communicate when running, so you don't feel that you are tired or some part of your budy is hurting :) It really helped me this time :)
I really hope that I will be able to write more and more... :) I hope I will get some new information, articles, books about running :) So, my friends, keep running and I wish you the best :)


2010.01.18 - 2010.01.29 (Training and illness)

What can I say? Winter is pretty bad time for me. Through this time I was running just 4 times (50k) and got sick again. It was really cold in Lithuania these days, the temperature was even -22 by Farenheit. So, you can imagine how cold is it in our place. But today the temperature started to raise, so I think it will be better very soon. I think, I will try to run few miles tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I hope, I won't get sick again. I don't like to miss trainings and sit at home. It's not for me. I wish you the best :) Stay healthy :)

It's very nice in my city, these days :) Snow is all around me, it's just spectacular view everywhere, especially in a forest ;) Well, sometimes it's not very easy to run, because it's very very slippery. It requires quite a lot patience. As faster you run, as more slipping you are. So, it's pretty irritating sometimes. My body is already used to such temperature as it is now. 17 is pretty good, it's even hot :) Despite the fact that I was ill for 10 days, it's really easy to run for me. I don't feel tired or exhausted after trainings. I love it and it makes just feel better and better :) I hope it will be the same later :) I think we will have snow and quite low temperature for one more month or more. I am back - 2010.01.10

Hello hello again :) I am very sorry, I didn't write for such a long time. I was ill for some time and all christmas, new year and so on :) I didn't run for 10 days and today was the first day I had a run again :)
So, the weather conditions is pretty cool in my city. There are loads of snow and the temperature is changing from 1 to 20 by Farenheit. So it's pretty cold sometimes:) I hope it will be warmer soon.
I am going to live in another city next week because of my studies. I will ask my trainer to make a special running program to me :) So, it will be easy to train. I really hope that everything will be good with my health and I will do my best to train as much as I can and I will write about it here :) Have a nice day, everyone :)

Well well, the temperature was pretty low today. Just 14 degrees. But I don't know, maybe because of me having cold showers every morning, I don't feel that cold too much. If I run, I'm always good. Besides, I took a walk yesterday evening, and it wasn't cold for me too, but for my friend it was. I think these showers are really helpful :) I like it. It's pretty hard in the beginning, but you get used to it. So today we didn't run too much, just 13k :) And again, the pace was quite high and I like it. It means that we are getting better :) When I got home, I noticed that sweat turned into ice on my cap :) So it's really cold outside. I hope it's not so cold in your place. I wish you the best and don't stop running even if it's very very cold :)


2009.12.13 - 2009.12.14

I was running alone on 13th of December. It was pretty good and the pace wasn't to slow, I am happy for this. I found some gut in me to run faster if even I am running alone :) So it was very nice. The temperature is going down every day in our country, but it's much better when it is 32 degrees than 34 or more, because it's dry in a forest. No mud. I enjoy it.
On the 14th we were even 4 guys running. I don't remember time when it was running 4 of us :) The temperature was lower, but I always get hot after 1 mile, so it's not a problem for me. 2 of us were running 8k. One guy is having a competition on 16th of December, so it's not good to run much before a race. Another guy was sick for two weeks, so it's not time to run more for him. So it was just me and trainer who ran 17k. It got really dark in a forest, but it wasn't a problem. The pace was pretty high, but I don't know exactly the time. I just feel it when running. At the moment I don't have a watch (shame on me), but I think I will get one as a present on Christmas :) Good luck to you :)

Well, everything is going on very good to me. Trainings are not too hard, I can run pretty good. That's just cool. On 12.09 I had some stomach pains, I don't know why. So we had to stop for 5 minutes and have a rest :) But later it was ok. On 12.10 I was running alone and it always happens - the pace was pretty slow, but it doesn't matter. The most important thing is to feel the joy of running. I love it. I am sorry that I don't write too much now, but my trainings is pretty dull now, nothing interesting happens, just normal crosses. Nothing more. I think that just after new year we will start to do some fartleks, running uphills and so on. So, it will be more interesting to read for you:) Have a nice weekend :)

I'm sorry I didn't write yesterday, so I write now for both days. Yesterday one old training friend joined us. I haven't seen him for 1 year or maybe more. He was sick for two weeks, so he's not strong at the moment. So we ran 6k with him and let him run home and ran 6k more with trainer. It was raining and dark. But I don't know, when you run, you just don't feel that bad weather. Everything is cool :)
Today it was almost dark at 4 p.m., so we decided to run in places where are lights. It's quite impossible to run in a forest now. This is why we ran all the time on asphalt. After 3k of warm up we did about 2k tempo run. It was pretty hard for me, in the end I felt quite exhausted :) Well, it's just the beginning, but such trainings are very good for my future. As my trainer said: "More pain in trainings, less pain in races" :) Well, it's not pain, it's that you just don't feel very good :) You feel tired. When we finished that tempo run I did shot break, about 1minute. But David and trainer kept running further, I thought I will catch them :) So so so, I did the wrong turn and we didn't meet. So I had to run 6k home all alone. Trainer called me after training, he said that they were looking for me :) Funny story, it doesn't happen often, maybe the first time in all my running history :) Don't get lost and have a nice day :)

Today I had good training too. It was easy to run all the time. We started one hour earlier than usually, because when we start to run at 4p.m. it gets dark after 20minutes. We ran quite much in a forest, so we needed light :) Trainer told us stories about his marathon races, funny things that happend during them. It's really interesting to listen how some people got bear to drink or some cranberries to eat during the race :) It's really nice to remember such stories :) Have a nice weekend, everyone :)

Today it was very great training. I felt amazingly great. I could run and run :) That's very good feeling. No stops, no bad feelings, just good mood and running :) I love it. We discussed about that 100km race. I'm getting more and more interested in this :) If everything will be OK to me, I think (and as my trainer said) I can try to run 100km. It won't be running for time, it will be for surviving :) But I like such things :) That's great experience. So, we will see that happens in 7 months. :)

Today my friend David felt very bad, so we did 2 stops for 5 minutes and ran very very slow. I didn't take watch, but I think that we made 10k in 60 minutes :) But it's ok, no rush, just joy :) I like it. Today my trainer suggested me to take part in 100k which will be in 2010 in the end of June. So, I have 7 months :) It's really very exciting idea, but I have never tried to run marathon. It would be great to try 100k one day, but I think that it's too early for me. Well, we will see :) I never run on Thursdays, but I will run tomorrow, because I didn't run yesterday :) See you, good luck :) By the way, I wish you the best winter :)

Today I was running alone. And as it always happens when you run alone... I ran pretty slow. I don't know, but I think that my pace was about 5min20sec/1k :) Quite slow for me. But it's good, I wasn't tired at all and came home feeling very good:) Today I ran in a different forest, it's always good to change your running place. I like running because your playground is everywhere: all forests, parks, streets and so on :) I think that this week will be pretty similar like last one, so sorry if I don't write something very interesting for you :) Good luck to you :)

Today I ran in the morning. I didn't sleep very much, so my brains didn't wark all the training. It was just my body :) My mind was totally empty, no thought about nothing. Just running :) The first 5k was pretty easy, but the second part was very hard. I don't know what happened, but just after 5k I felt quite bad. It was very hard to run and my legs were very heavy. I just wanted to run home. Hopefully, it won't happen again :) Good luck :)

Today it was pretty hard to run in the beginning. Firt 3 k was pretty slow, but it helped later to run a little bit faster :) In a forest we met one old runner, he's I think as old as my trainer, but he's really great. He still competes in races and so on :) So we walked up one hill and I think this short walk helped me to recover a little and to run much better :) As I said on Monday, my trainings will be quite the same, because I have to recover. Today in the beginning of my training I felt really bad. First mile vas very very slow and I thought that I couldn't run any more. I always run the first to our meeting place, because I like to do stretching exercises before long run. But today I didn't do anything, just walked. But I think that 10 minutes break helped me. I was able to run all the time, but not very fast. Really much slower than yesterday, but in the end it was pretty good. No bad feelings. Tomorrow I will have a break, resting time :) I hope that on Friday everything will be ok. By the way, today I have a new interview with one woman. She is ready for a big challenge: to run 52 marathons in 52 weeks :) It's really amazing. I hope that everything will be OK with her :) Read about it here. Today's training was pretty the same like yesterday's :) Just the weather was much more cloudy. I felt almost the same all training. It's really good that I feel so good :) I like ot very much. I think that all this week I'll be running 8-10k, not more. So it won't be an interesting one :) No fartleks, tempo runs or running uphills :) It will be pretty simple, for recovery :)

Hello hello to everyone :) This is a happy day for me. At last running. The weather was pretty good. It was quite a surprise for me because I could run quite fast, no problems, no pain. Everything was amazingly fine :) My trainer ran about 11km before our training, because he knew that I can't run much. I am very happy that I am not weak as I expected. I am really able to run 14k or even more and it wouldn't be exhausting. I hope that I will be as fast as I was two weeks ago very soon. Good luck to everyone :)


2009.11.22

This week I walked about 75km/47miles. It was really good rehabilitation after my sickness. I didn't start to run on Thursday because I felt that my lungs are too sensitive for cold weather. But today it was very good. No caughing at all :) So tomorrow I will try to run, I think 8-10k. I hope that I will be in shape very soon :) So tomorrow I will write about my training, will see how it goes :) Good luck :)

2009.11.17

Today I walked 24k/15miles :) It was pretty good. Really very easy going :) Mostly I walked in forest, the nature is quite dull, because it was very cloudy and rainy. Today I found very good quote about running:

"I always loved running... it was something you could do by yourself, and under your own power. You could go in any direction, fast or slow as you wanted, fighting the wind if you felt like it, seeking out new sights just on the strength of your feet and the courage of your lungs." Jesse Owens

And he is 100 percent right. Running is about freedom, your running path takes you wherever you want. You can go slow or fast, there's no rush. You are ruling your running, not others. It's all about yourself focusing on one thing. It just you and your running path.

By the way, Jesse Owens won even 4 gold medals in 1936 Olympics in Berlin. That's amazing because he won those medals in 100m, 200m distances, in 4*100m relay and in the LONG JUMP :) That's fantastic.

If talking about me... Well, I think, I am fine at last. No temperature, no cough. But I won't run for at least one day. It's pretty cold outside, so I can get sick immediately. I should stay at home to get a little bit stronger. But I am happy that I am not sick :) Good luck to everyone :)

So today is finally the day when I feel pretty good. That illness was quite strong. At last I could go outside. It was amazing feeling after one week at home to go outside and feel fresh air. It's amazing how sometimes so simple things make you happy :) I didn't run all week, that's not good, but I hope to recover pretty fast. I will try to run on Monday or on Tuesday :) We'll see how it goes :) But I am happy that I am at last not sick :) Good luck to everyone and have a nice weekend :) Best wishes :)

Hello :) No good news about my health. I am still sick. My temperature was even 102,2. So, I think that I have to rest more than 2 days. Maybe whole week. It's pretty sad, because one week rest for runner is pretty much. Yes, it's good after races season, but not when you are training for it. And I will be a little bit weaker. But I really hope that everything is going to be OK :) I'll do my best to get better as soon as I can :) Good luck to everybody. Have a nice runnings ;)

Hello, everyone :)

Today is a bad day for me. I wont' run because I got sick. I hate this so much. I don't know why this happened to me, because I really tried to be careful as much as possible. I don't think this is because of quite cold weather. I think this is because I went to sauna on Saturday and somebody already had a virus and infected me. Very pitty. My mother is a doctor, she checked me and said that everything is OK with my lungs and throat. But I have a temperature. So it's possible that I have got the flu. Today I will try to drink 1000 cups of tea, eat a lot of garlic and lie in my bed all day :) I hope this helps and after 1-2 days I will be fine. I want to run. I hope that in my future life I will be able to spend winter time in Spain or Africa :) Somewhere it's warm all the time :) Almost all the time I get sick during winter. So, everybody be careful and don't get sick :) Wish me luck and have a nice day :)

Today we decided to run all the time on asphalt, because there's a lot of snow in the forests. The weather was pretty good, not so cold. But it's quite annoying to run along the road. Cars make so much noise. I always try to avoid such places, but today we didn't have another choice :) But just for one time, it's not a matter. In the end of running (maybe after 22k) my hips was very heavy. 2 last miles was pretty hard, I think this is because of running on asphalt all the time. My legs are not used to asphalt now. On Saturdays we always do the longest run, but I love it the most. It's a little bit exhausting, but interesting :) So, have a nice weekend everybody :)

place: 3k on asphalt, 7k in forest.
We have a lot of snow in our city today. And a lot of in forest too. So it was pretty hard to run today. When we were running downhills , it was not running, it was skiing :) And it's quite hard to run uphills, I was almost climbing :) I don't recommend to run in a forest when there are a lot of snow, you can get serious injuries. So tomorrow we will try to run on asphalt, unless all snow will melt until tomorrow. And it's very wet, the temperature is 33,8, so snow is melting but not so much. It's very slippery. But then the temperature is about 25 and the snow is dry it's pretty good to run, not so dangerous :) It was maybe the third training when I feel some pain in my back. I will try to strech it more, I hope it helps. It's really annoying and I can't concentrate on running. Have a nice weekend everybody :)

Today's training was real improvisation :) Well, the forest where I am running is pretty big and there are a lot of (hundreds and thousands) paths :) So today we tried quite a lot of new paths. There were lots of hills, little valleys and so on. It was amazing. Once we even ran in the place there were no path. It was a very steep and quite hard to run, bet I enjoyed all running very much. It even started to snow :) So christmas is coming to our town :) It was really nice. It's good to improvise when running. You should change your running as much as you can. It's more interesting :) So toworrow I am having a free day. See you later :)

Today I was alone, but the training was really good. I decided to run by the river called Neman. It's the longest river in Lithuania. I took very narrow and winding path. So it always seemed that I am running pretty fast. That path is almost unseen, because it's covered by leaves and I think that just fishermen sometimes use it:) But the view was amazing. Fall is very beautiful time of the year. I saw the sunset too :) I forgot to say that yesterday I saw two roes on my way. I love such things, you are so close to nature when running:)

So today I had to do fartlek. I chose one hill, which is maybe 150 meters long. So how I do fartlek uphills: Such runs uphills is very good for endurance and for speed increase. Maybe you don't feel that increase after one week, but if you do it 2 times a week for one month or longer, it really helps. So see you tomorrow :) Have a nice run :)

Today was pretty good day again :) It's getting colder and colder everyday, but it doesn't matter when you really want to run. So I enjoy sunny, but chilly weather :) So today we ran first 4 miles quite slowly, but all other distance was much faster. I felt very good during today's training, no problems with legs or stomach :) Lately we finish our training almost in darkness, but it's good that last mile is in the city, so it's quite light :) Tomorrow we will do some fartlek uphills. It will be a little bit harder :) See you tomorrow.
